Biography
Udayan is an award-winning drama director who has worked with some of Britain’s finest actors and writers.
The hugely admired My Son the Fanatic was selected for Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and has won a host of awards. The Yellow Handkerchief, starring William Hurt, Kristen Stewart and Eddie Redmayne opened the Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim.
Udayan has directed large scale television productions including Key episodes of The Tunnel for Sky Atlantic, the Anglo French adaptation of The Bridge. More recently he directed the season 3 finale of the hugely successful BBC production The Musketeers.
Udayan loves the freedom and intensity of directing commercials and has filmed with major global agencies including DDB, JWT, McCanns and Ogilvy.
He also teaches Directing at The National Film & Television School, The London Film School and many around Europe.
